DeCluttering 101

Good Day to Everyone,
I spent the month of January sorting through my house, moving things from one area to another, and then back again. I really found it hard to just get rid of things because they were cluttering up my spaces. There was that little voice inside my head lecturing me about why I may have purchased or acquired some things that made me reinspect each item. I did recycle many of the plastic containers but I also cleaned and brought them into the local coop for reuse in their Gently Used Container bin. I did the same with plastic grocery bags and a couple of cloth reusable bags. I also got into packing away clothes, towels, and other items that I plan to rediscover in a few years (when I may need them)!!

Building Shelving for Better Organization
The Mess in the Corner
We had always planned to be more organized. But then we got busy and it fell by the wayside. Other more pressing things dominated. And then we just got used to the clutter in the basement. Now we have a bit more time. So we finally decided to spring for some 2×4’s and built this great shelving system. We already had a couple of plastic bins but we purchased an additional 6 clear ones so we could see what was in them. Still in the midst of clearing the clutter, a February effort.
