Looking at Waste and How I Reduce It ~ 03-12-2018
I make very little waste. I reuse items made of plastic, paper, glass, or metal. It is a priority not only to have a positive impact on the environment with less pollution but to conserve natural resources and divert from the landfills and incinerators. Plastic is of a great concern because it never really goes away. Many plastic items are recyclable but once it is buried in a landfill it just sits. And worse, if plastic finds its way into the ocean it floats and clogs and kills.
