My Best Ideas Come After Christmas ~
Alas, I am one of those people who freeze whenever I have to get a special person a special present. For me most gifts just don’t fulfill. But ironically, following January first, I start to get creative and think about all the wonderful things I could give in the spirit of the holiday. Here are just a few to jumpstart your 2018 gift giving plans. And the best part is most are simple, inexpensive, and can be homemade, often from recyclable items. They are functional and/or consumable so your people don’t feel burdened by yet another less than useful thing. And they make great Yankee Swap Gift ideas (good for regifting if that is your thing).
Here are my Top Five Favorites!
Sprouting jar and lid with a jar of seeds all in a sweet basket.
Compost bucket and box of compostable bags.
Artsy pie plate with homemade pie.
Dryer balls in a homemade bag.
Birthday, holiday, or just plain notecards with a book of colorful stamps.
